ECM Mechanika MAX - Rotary
ECM Mechanika Max: Smart HX, Dual-Boiler Stability
The Mechanika Max from ECM incorporates the brand's Smart HX. Packed full of features, the Max is an incredibly flexible machine with over 19 menu options, delivering a personalised coffee experience with temperature stability and brew control rarely seen in a heat exchange machine.
Two PID probes, one in the boiler and a second in the brew group inlet, monitor the actual brew water so the set temperature of the thermosyphon is maintained. Brew Temperature Control (btC) offers three settings, and the Flush Advisor tells you when a flush is needed, removing the guesswork.
Key Features:
- Brew Temperature Control: Three settings for directly setting the ideal brewing temperature.
- Flush Advisor: Indicates when the brew water temperature is too high.
- Automatic On/Off Timer: Warm and ready when you are.
- Adjustable Pre-Infusion: Active and passive pre-infusion, separately defined.
- Cleaning Reminder: A warning for when cleaning is required.
- Rotary Pump: Quiet operation, switchable from water tank to a fixed water connection.
- Lever Valves & Gauges: Professional quick steam and hot water lever valves with larger pressure gauges.
- Ergonomic Portafilters: Two angled, weight-balanced ECM portafilters.

Price Match
We Aim to Match, But Conditions Apply!
We strive to offer the most competitive prices in Australia for all your coffee brewing needs. While we're confident in our pricing, we're human, and occasionally, a competitor might slip a lower price past our radar. That's where you come in! If you spot a better deal elsewhere, we'll gladly match it, with some fair conditions to ensure a level playing field.
Here's the scoop:
- Aussie rivals only: The competitor must be an Australian retailer with prices in AUD and shipping from within our great nation.
- Brand buddies: They must be an authorised retailer of the specific brand you're eyeing.
- Twinsies, please: The product needs to be an exact match, brand new in its box, and readily available.
- Delivery included: We'll factor in the competitor's delivery cost for an apples-to-apples comparison.
Now, for some exceptions, where our price-matching magic might not work:
- Cashback & discounts: We can't match deals involving cashback offers or special discount coupons.
- Bulk buys: Commercial quantity pricing is a different beast, so we won't match those either.
- Clearance frenzy: Stock liquidation sales are temporary deals, and we can't keep up with their ever-changing prices.
- History can't be rewritten: We can't adjust past orders that have already been processed.
- Auction arena: Prices from auction sites like eBay or Catch of the Day aren't eligible.
The rare exception:
In extraordinary situations, we might not be able to match a competitor's price exactly. But don't worry, we'll still offer you the best possible price we can, because your coffee happiness matters to us!
So, there you have it! With these guidelines in mind, feel free to share any lower prices you find, and let's brew up some fair competition!
